Wire Rope Cleaner and Lubricator System

The Cable Cleaner / Lubricator system scrapes old grease from ship’s wire rope and applies new grease in one continuous process. This machine eliminates the issure of spent solvents and greasy rag waste resulting from the manual cleaning of ships’ wire ropes. The new system also greatly reduces the manpower and time required to clean and lubricate cables.

Using the Cable Cleaner / Lubricator is a simple process designed to meet the conditions found onboard a Navy ship. It is corrosion resistant and able to handle the many varieties and sizes of wire rope on Naby ships.

The Cable Cleaner / Lubricator has been successfully evaluated on many Navy and MSC ships. They are being procured for U.S. Navy Auxiliary and Amphibious ships and Carriers vis the Pollution Prevention Afloat Program beginning in FY 99. Fleetwide implementation of the machines has begun and will continue through FY 05
